1 最後一段指的是挪威森林（「and when i awoke, i was alone, this bird had flown」，就是把女孩比成飛走的鳥，而鳥是生活在樹林裡的），
2 或是挪威木頭屋（保羅曾經設想把女孩的屋子燒掉，後來歌詞改為「so i lit a fire, isn't good, norwegian wood」）。
