my father works 是插入語，可省略，則
it was in the hotel _____i met the film star.
可改寫為i met the film star it was in the hotel.
且通順，『應為』有介詞『in』。所以很明確的是一句強調句，填『that』
而插入句一看便知是用來修飾hotel的定語從句，於是用關係副詞『where』

第二個選擇there 是因為 代表的是in the hotel 是地點狀語 所以用where 是為了表達 我看電影明星在那個旅館裡
大致翻譯為：我看見電影明星在我爸爸工作的那個旅館裡。
